The ultimate land battleship of the Zoids universe has arrived. Takara Tomy's Advanced Zi (AZ) Series presents the AZ-17EX Ultra Saurus with Gravity Cannon DX Version, a premium 1/72 scale moving model kit that combines cutting-edge engineering, motorized action, LED lighting, and screen-accurate detail to create the definitive version of one of the largest and most powerful Zoids ever produced.

As part of the Advanced Zi series, AZ-17EX represents the next evolution of Zoids model kits through enhanced engineering, refined detailing, and modern reconstruction while preserving the spirit of the original designs.

This deluxe set includes both the AZ-17 Ultra Saurus and the AZ-17EX Exclusive Gravity Cannon, making it the first commercial release to faithfully recreate the legendary Gravity Cannon in three-dimensional form.

The Ultra Saurus features a built-in motorized drive system that recreates realistic dinosaur-like walking motions. Once activated, the massive Zoid strides forward while its long neck swings naturally from side to side, its enormous tail moves dynamically for balance, and its weapon systems animate in sync with its movement. The 360mm Linear Cannon and AZ 90mm Triple Pulse Laser Guns automatically move up and down, while the propellers mounted along the abdomen rotate during operation.

For even greater realism, LED light-up features illuminate the Zoid Cores located in both the eyes and chest. The included six unpainted standard pilot figures can be seated inside the cockpit, adding impressive display detail.

With the communication antenna folded and the switch activated, Ultra Saurus automatically transitions into its underwater submersion mode, lowering its neck and changing configuration just like its appearance in the Zoids universe. A dedicated Display Mode allows the LED lighting to remain illuminated without activating the motorized functions.

Exclusive to this release, the Gravity Cannon can be mounted directly onto Ultra Saurus while retaining full motorized walking capability. When activated, the Gravity Cannon automatically performs a complete firing sequence, progressing from loading and deployment to aiming and firing. Included effect parts recreate the dramatic moment the Gravity Cannon unleashes its devastating attack, delivering one of the most iconic displays in Zoids history.

The DX Version further enhances the experience with exclusive bonus accessories, including ultra-small Zoid micro figures, a seated Moonbay pilot figure that can be placed inside the cockpit, and a clear canopy parts runner for an upgraded display.
