From The Transformers: The Movie (1986), Threezero presents MDLX Hot Rod, recreating the young Autobot hero with the stylized proportions and premium engineering of the MDLX series. Standing approximately 6.7 inches (17 cm) tall, Hot Rod features around 46 points of articulation for expressive action poses and animated-film-inspired displays.

Hot Rod includes his Photon Lasers and a selection of character-specific accessories inspired by memorable scenes from the 1986 movie, including a buzzsaw, welding torch, fishing rod and Matrix of Leadership. Interchangeable faceplates and hands provide additional display options for Transformers collectors.
