Build an environmentally conscious version of one of the Cosmic Era’s most iconic Mobile Suits with the Entry Grade 1/144 Strike Gundam (ECOPLA) from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED by Bandai Hobby. This special ECOPLA edition combines the approachable engineering of the Entry Grade Strike Gundam with Bandai’s sustainability-focused Gunpla initiative.

Piloted by Kira Yamato, the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam was developed by the Earth Alliance as part of the G Project. Its versatile Striker Pack System allows the Mobile Suit to adapt to different combat situations, and its starring role in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED has made the Strike one of the most recognizable Gundams of the Cosmic Era.

The ECOPLA concept gives this familiar Mobile Suit a distinctive presentation while highlighting efforts to make use of recycled plastic materials associated with Gunpla production. Like the standard Entry Grade Strike Gundam, the kit is engineered around simple, intuitive assembly. Bandai’s Entry Grade Strike uses just 79 parts, with carefully designed color separation that allows the Mobile Suit’s appearance to be reproduced without requiring full painting.

Bandai’s Touch Gate system allows the parts to be removed from the runners by hand, meaning nippers are not required for basic assembly. Snap-fit construction also eliminates the need for glue, making the kit especially approachable for first-time Gunpla builders.

Despite its beginner-friendly construction, the Strike Gundam provides an impressive range of articulation throughout the torso, arms, and legs, allowing the completed model to achieve dynamic battle poses. Even details such as the dark outlines around the camera eyes are reproduced through clever parts engineering and shadows rather than relying solely on stickers.

The standard full Entry Grade Strike release likewise includes its Beam Rifle and Shield.
