A legendary interpretation of Mechagodzilla returns with Chogokin Mechagodzilla (Ohrai Noriyoshi Poster Ver.) from Bandai Tamashii Nations. Inspired by renowned illustrator Noriyoshi Ohrai's iconic poster artwork for the 1993 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, this premium Chogokin release transforms the artist's dramatic mechanical vision into an impressive three-dimensional collectible.

Unlike the Mechagodzilla design that appears on screen, Ohrai's poster artwork presents the anti-Godzilla machine with a dramatically different mechanical interpretation. The resulting design has become a celebrated piece of Godzilla history and offers collectors a unique version of the legendary mechanical kaiju.

This new Chogokin release brings back the design originally introduced with the 2017 Chogokin Tamashii Mix Mechagodzilla (Ohrai Noriyoshi Poster Ver.), but with an updated color treatment designed to more closely capture the distinctive appearance of the poster artwork.

The previous matte silver exterior has been replaced with a striking bluish, glossy silver finish, giving the mechanical surfaces greater visual depth and helping recreate the cool metallic appearance associated with Ohrai's illustration.

Standing approximately 170 mm / 6.7 inches tall, Mechagodzilla is constructed from ABS, PVC, and die-cast metal, giving the figure the substantial weight and premium mechanical feel expected from Bandai's Chogokin line.

One of the most impressive features of this interpretation is its three-machine transformation and combination system.

Mechagodzilla separates into three individual G-Force machines: Garuda, Gandharva, and Naga. Each component contributes to the completed robot and allows collectors to experience the elaborate mechanical concept imagined for Ohrai's poster design.

The three machines can then be transformed and combined to create the complete Mechagodzilla, preserving the transformation and combination system of the earlier 2017 release.

This functionality gives the collectible significantly more display versatility than a conventional Mechagodzilla figure. Collectors can showcase the individual G-Force machines or assemble them into the imposing completed mechanical kaiju.

A dedicated Garuda pedestal is also included, providing an additional display option for the component machine when presented separately from Mechagodzilla.
