The legendary kunoichi of SNK enters the TunShi Studio 1/12 scale lineup with Mai Shiranui (TS-022) from The King of Fighters '97. Featuring a newly developed seamless platinum-silicone body, fabric costume, movable-eye portraits, signature fans, flame effect, and a special preorder bonus head sculpt, this release brings one of fighting games' most iconic characters to life in highly articulated form.

A master of Shiranui-ryuu Ninjutsu, Mai Shiranui has remained one of SNK's most recognizable characters since her debut in Fatal Fury 2. Her combination of speed, acrobatic movement, fan-based attacks, and fire techniques made her a natural addition to The King of Fighters roster and one of the franchise's enduring fan favorites.

This release is specifically inspired by Mai's classic appearance in The King of Fighters '97, the climactic entry in the legendary Orochi Saga.

Standing approximately 14.5 cm / 5.7 inches tall, Mai features a newly developed fully painted platinum-silicone seamless body. The seamless construction minimizes visible joints while retaining the articulation needed to recreate her distinctive fighting poses and signature techniques.

Mai's recognizable red-and-white kunoichi costume is recreated using fabric materials, adding texture and a more natural appearance at 1/12 scale. The outfit is fitted directly to the seamless body and is designed as a non-removable costume.

The standard release includes two interchangeable head sculpts. One presents Mai with her regular expression, while the second depicts her characteristically holding a fan in her mouth.

The portraits feature movable eyes, providing additional control over Mai's expression and allowing collectors to adjust her gaze to complement different poses.

A generous selection of 12 interchangeable hands provides options for fighting stances, fan poses, martial arts gestures, and signature attack displays.

Mai's trademark weapons are represented by two butterfly fans, allowing collectors to recreate her elegant yet deadly fighting style.

An included flame effect part captures Mai's fire-based techniques and can be combined with the figure's articulation and accessories to create dynamic displays inspired by attacks such as her signature Ryuuenbu.

This version also includes the special preorder bonus shouting head sculpt. Featuring an open-mouth battle expression and movable eyes, the bonus portrait provides a more aggressive option for recreating Mai in the middle of one of her special attacks.

The complete set includes Mai Shiranui, two standard head sculpts, fully painted platinum-silicone seamless body, complete fabric costume, 12 interchangeable hands, two butterfly fans, and one flame effect part.

The preorder bonus adds one additional shouting-expression head sculpt, bringing the total to three head options when the bonus is included.
