To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Evangelion series, a special edition METAL BUILD Evangelion Test Type-01 has been released. This commemorative set features the iconic Test Type-01 figure along with the newly designed "Spear of Gaius," measuring over 370mm in length and crafted with METAL BUILD’s signature sculpting and translucent materials to capture its unique form and texture.

Also included is a special black display base adorned with the 30th anniversary logo in holographic foil. The set comes with newly sculpted left and right wrist parts designed specifically to hold the spear, plus an additional joint that allows for dynamic floating poses. (Note: The main body and standard weapons are the same as the METAL BUILD Evangelion Test Type-01 released in February 2019.)
