Bring one of Neo Zeon’s most distinctive experimental Mobile Suits to your Gunpla collection with the HG 1/144 Hamma-Hamma from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ by Bandai Hobby. Newly announced in August 2026, this long-awaited High Grade release gives the imposing AMX-103 Hamma-Hamma a modern 1/144-scale model kit with updated proportions, articulation, and engineering.

Piloted by Mashymre Cello, the Hamma-Hamma was developed by Neo Zeon as an experimental machine incorporating Psycommu technology. Its unusual proportions, massive shoulder armor, green color scheme, and heavily armed design make it immediately recognizable among the Mobile Suits appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.

One of the Hamma-Hamma’s defining features is its unusual wired remote arm system. Its forearms can separate from the main body and operate remotely through Psycommu control, giving the Mobile Suit the ability to attack opponents from unexpected directions.

The machine is also equipped with substantial firepower, including its distinctive beam weapons and shield, complementing the remote-arm system and giving the Hamma-Hamma an appropriately formidable appearance for Mashymre’s experimental Neo Zeon machine.

Bandai’s modern High Grade 1/144 format emphasizes detailed color separation, articulation, and accessible assembly. HG kits are generally designed around approximately 1/144 scale while balancing mechanical detail with an approachable building experience.

Parts are molded in color and utilize snap-fit construction, allowing builders to achieve an impressive appearance without requiring glue or full painting. More experienced Gunpla builders can further enhance the Hamma-Hamma with panel lining, detail painting, decals, and weathering.

The new HG release is especially noteworthy for longtime Gundam ZZ collectors. While Bandai previously produced the Hamma-Hamma as a RE/100 1/100 model in 2017, this new release finally brings the Mobile Suit into the modern HG lineup at 1/144 scale.
