In times of peace, Grand Dion rests in an underground hangar as a mobile fortress GX, awaiting deployment. In emergencies, it rises via underground lift to the surface, transforming rapidly into combat form and executing large-scale defensive maneuvers. Its commanding design also makes it a symbolic presence during ceremonies within its deployment zones.

As the ultimate offensive weapon of the Robot Base GX, Grand Dion wields devastating destructive power capable of reshaping entire landscapes with a single shot. In Robot Base Mode, it maximizes energy output through an array of freezone generators connected to its arm connector system.

Its massive main cannon delivers catastrophic firepower, but firing at maximum output overheats the barrel, requiring a cooling cycle before reuse. Adjustable firing settings allow for continuous attack at reduced destructive levels, balancing power and sustainability in battle.
